Property inspections

  • Home
  • Termite (could be required by the appraiser)
  • Well / Septic
  • Mold (could be required by the appraiser)

Paperwork

  • Loan Conditions or other paperwork – refer to the loan application checklist or loan approval paperwork
  • Fire/Hazard/Homeowner's Insurance – call insurance company
  • Have you locked in your interest rate?
  • Inspection reports
  • Order the wire 24 business hours before closing – refer to HUD statement for final closing costs numbers

Has the settlement been scheduled with the following people?

Are the loan conditions met?

  • They must be met no less than (5) days before Closing.
